About the event

Brown Noise explores the contrasting lives of Medha and Rish, two South Asian-Canadians navigating the complexities of identity, belonging, and cultural expectations.

Medha, a first-generation Canadian, and Rish, a "not-so-fresh-off-the-boat" immigrant, come from different walks of life, but their shared experiences and ideological differences create a perfect storm of comedic chaos.

Through a series of stand-up, sketch comedy, and heartfelt storytelling moments, the show dives into the comedic and sometimes painful contrasts of their experiences. The show is raw, honest, and unapologetically funny, exploring the struggles of being caught between two cultures with heart and humour.

Brown Noise is a celebration of the immigrant experience in all its contradictions.
